We handle all service calls with your total satisfaction in mind. Our service calls are a flat fee that covers diagnostics and the cost of fuel for the trip to your home. Some HVAC contractors may charge a per-hour fee, but not us.
We typically finish our initial diagnostics in roughly 30 minutes, but whether our diagnostics take five minutes or five hours, the fee will not change. Once we understand what’s happening with your HVAC system, we’ll explain the issue and discuss next steps. We’ll give you a flat upfront cost of all your repair options so you can budget for possible repairs.
Sometimes a repair is so minimal that we will not add any extra charge for performing it. Our rule of thumb is that if we do not have to replace any parts or use any tools, then there is no extra cost.
If we’re at your home for a service call and you decide to have us replace your HVAC equipment, then we can credit the service call fee towards the replacement equipment.
Our service call fee changes after hours, on weekends, and on holidays. We also offer different pricing for platinum service club members, gold service club members, in-area residential customers, out-of-area residential customers, and commercial customers.
Are you looking to replace a broken-down air conditioner or an old furnace? We can help you out with a free estimate on equipment replacement cost and sizing. Once you reach out to us, we’ll schedule a time for us to drop by and consult with you. There are a lot of factors that go into choosing a new HVAC system, and you don’t want to end up with a furnace or air conditioner that isn’t right for your needs.
During the consultation, we’ll compare and contrast many different types of HVAC equipment. We’ll discuss equipment brands, efficiency, cost, types and styles of equipment, warranties, the installation process, and more. Our friendly technicians can break down the decision-making process and make it easier for you.
Sometimes the first HVAC contractor you talk to just isn’t the right one for you. Maybe they didn’t give you enough repair options, or they quoted you at a high price, or you simply want another expert’s opinion. We offer free second opinions so you can be more informed about your possible next steps.
If you’re thinking about replacing your air conditioner or your furnace, you should consider these four primary factors:
How long are you going to live in that home?
If you’re planning on staying in your current home for a long time, it’s best to get a replacement sooner rather than later. You’ll reap the benefits of a new HVAC system for longer.
What is the upfront cost of the repair vs. the upfront cost of replacement?
A repair usually costs less than a replacement, but you should consider how a replacement can save you money over time. It may be a higher upfront cost, but it can lead to greater savings down the road. We find it helpful to compare the cost of repair vs. replacement as a percentage. For example, if a repair costs $1000 and a replacement is $5000, then your repair is 20% of the cost of new equipment.
What will the difference in your energy bills be if you replace your equipment?
Energy prices are rising, and they will continue to rise for the foreseeable future. That means energy efficiency should be a top priority for most homeowners. Many homeowners can see greater energy bill savings if they switch to a new system. Your new HVAC equipment may pay for itself over time.
How reliable will your existing equipment be after a repair, and will it be as reliable as a new system that’s under warranty?
A repair can only do so much if your HVAC system is past its prime. Once your HVAC system is old enough, you should think about how long your system will reliably work. There are a lot of repair costs associated with an older system, and more repairs don’t always mean better reliability.
